Dreams are stored outside of consciousness and surface unexpectedly.
I am interested in how people perceive objects, what changes in that process, and what gets left behind. Dream memories, too, exist on the same continuum as reality,yet they lack clear contours.
As I continue to explore the medium of photography, I am drawn to the ambiguity of “seeing” and “remembering.” Photography, like a dream, fixes moments from the
past, but to what extent can its image be considered “real”?
夢は意識の外で記憶され、いつの間にか表出する。
私は、人々が対象をどのように認識し、その過程で何が変化し、何が取りこぼされるのかに関心がある。夢の記憶もまた、現実と地続きでありながら、明確な輪郭を持たない。
写真というメディアについて考え続ける中で、私は「見ること」や「記憶すること」の曖昧さに惹かれる。写真は、夢のように過去の時間を定着させるが、その像はどこまで「本物」と言えるのだろうか。
