In Japanese folk beliefs, it is believed that objects and tools that have gone through many years house spirits. This artwork visualizes that concept. The animistic concept also suggests the importance of cherishing objects.
日本の民間信仰では、器物や道具などの長い年月を経たものには精霊が宿ると考えられてきた。今回の作品はそれを視覚化したものである。このアニミズム的な概念は、物を大切にすべきことも示唆している。
